The LIFE Business strives to teach people to keep a balanced life in all 8Fs

Wow, the last two post talking through the combination of business, friends and faith have been fantastic. I love all of the comments and imagesemails I have received. The power of discussion on topics that matter, have eternal consequences. I feel so blessed to be part of a community that is choosing to have the tough conversations to make a difference, and following through with the courage to share these ideas. At LIFE Leadership we have made it our mission to share truth one person at a time to impact the world.

Keep leading and learning right were you are at, YOU are making a difference.

God bless,

Dan Hawkins

So often I find that we as Christians wrestle against worshiping the creation over the creator. Very often we put so much time and energy into our education, our careers, our recreation, that we lose connection with God. One of my main concerns when I began building LIFE was how will I fit this into my already busy life, and will this to take me further from my calling to serve God? Many of my fears were partially alleviated when I heard and witnessed the founders promoting Faith, Family and then the business in that prioritized order. Even more endearing was that fact monthly seminars, conventions and private leadership meetings were always opened in prayer and leaders always promoted God as our source of success. Major Conventions always include a humble, but powerful Christians service on Sunday morning that allows believers of the Christian faith to learn more about God and His plan of salvation. I have seen many people come to Christ in these meetings, and many more fan the flames of curiosity as God draws them nearer to the truth. Many will criticize LIFE Leadership, the founders, and members for being so brazen in their Christian faith, but I found comfort in knowing that people of like faith were leading the charge, and following the words of Matthew 8:38

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”

Many times the Christian will ask how do I know if these people are really Christians? Fair question…and the Bible gives us help in identifying true believers in Luke 6:44-46…

For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

When I first entered into business with the LIFE founders, I did not know these men nor their wives. And they did not know me, so we partnered in good faith took the time necessary to evaluate each others hearts and motives. LIFE provides a 100% money back guarantee on all products and a 30-day grace period for those new members that change their mind. LIFE Leadership has incorporated full exposure to the business as a part of the first 30 days for all members. These safeguards ensure that all parties get a chance to know and hear from the hearts of their constituents before delving deeper into the business partnership.

I initially had major concerns about the doctrine that was being taught, and who was doing the teaching. But LIFE Leadership does a good job in separating the business teachings from the spiritual teachings. LIFE will sometimes partner with secular authors, lectures and teachers in order to learn business and personal principles that align with the 8 F’s. But the message of the Gospel is kept separate and simple so that we can find the common ground in the good news while not allowing denominational rifts to distort God’s amazing grace. LIFE Leadership walks the fine line that Paul wrote in I Corinthians 9:19-23…

Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

I have had the privilege of leading a few people to Christ and then leading those people to LIFE Leadership, but more often I have led people to LIFE Leadership and then led them to Christ. To many this may sound strange, but let me further explain why I have found this to be true. LIFE Leadership is a business that encourages it members to build a community. First by knowing oneself, then learning how to relate to and communicate with others. LIFE professional business owners are encouraged to share the business plan 15 times a month, and I and many other members have developed that industrious habit. In these 15 exposures (plans), we are taught to make a friend, find a need, transfer a genuine feeling of believe in the prospect and the business, get the prospect to a meeting, loan, sell or give them information to enjoy, and schedule a follow up time to meet again in two days. I have found that these “plans” provide are real opportunity to let our light so shine before men so that they may see our good works. In the living rooms of Americans, LIFE members get a chance to know people that they most likely never would have met. We get a chance to cross cultural, racial and socio-economic lines that our society and many of our Church have a yet to cross. LIFE members often hear the despair, trials and heartaches that families are experiencing. Financial distress, relational disharmony, physical sickness, and mental stress are common fare. We then get a very real chance to offer hope for both secular and spiritual ailements. With thousands of LIFE members knocking on the doors of new friends, co-workers, and neighbors, LIFE has put feet on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our lights are shining brightly. There are millions of Christian evangelicals that are doing a great work in offering hope to the hopeless of our world. I pray that God will continue to use their ministry to build His kingdom, and I also know that the saints of God that are called to propagate LIFE can do a great work in spreading the good news as well. The pain of our world is too great for Christians to trifle over the way in which we reach God’s lost sheep and lead them home…Jesus reminds us of this in Matthew 9:35-38…

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.3 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

I often speak with my current Pastor in regards to LIFE Leadership, and because he sees the need that LIFE is filling, he allows us to use the Church as a meeting place for events. We together marvel at the cooperation, and dedication shown by LIFE members at these events, and we long for that same consistent unity of spirit in the Church. I am not so naive to believe that LIFE Leadership is the savior of the world, we know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. LIFE is only as good as the people that represent the business, and I believe that God has called a remnant of His people to this business in order to make a difference in their sphere of influence. Bible inspired words of truth carried on the wings of brave souls seeking to serve, prosper and expand a business and a kingdom, provide many with their best shot at living the life that they have always wanted and their best shot at fulfilling our great commission found in Matthew 28:19-20…

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

I pray that these articles provide you with a fresh perspective of the LIFE Leadership Company, and the unique industry of compensated communities. There is no way to answer all of your questions nor alleviate all of your concerns, but I hope that you feel compelled enough to take the next steps toward LIFE membership. There are no guarantees in life or in business, the hard cold facts can only take us so far. Emotions are fleeting at best, and the Christian is left with nothing but FAITH. Faith to see the impossible, move the un-movable and feel the intangible. Mankind cannot see past the choices we have yet to make, but God can, so I encourage you to walk by faith and not by sight. I leave you with these words found in John 15:5-8…

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit;apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

My prayer is that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be His disciples, and if by chance we bear that fruit in LIFE Leadership, build it big for the glory of our God!

  1. Once Again Dan! this article knocked the cover off the ball! We should not be ashamed for what we have! There is nothing better! You are proof of the content of LIFE and the quality of information! There are not just Gold Shavings in this article, but large gold nuggets!!! These three articles have been such an encouragement to me! Know the truth and the Truth shall set you free!

  2. Great article Dan!
As I have started my “LIFE” journey through this business opportunity, I have found that it is almost impossible to “balance” between business and faith. I feel more and more everyday that one compliments the other. They are both pieces to an even bigger picture. What we do in business as well as all leisure/family time ultimately should give glory to God.
This business opportunity has encouraged me to seek an even deeper relationship with Christ than ever before and has recently led to my baptism just a couple months ago. Like we have heard many times, it is not the destination that is as important but who we become in the pursuit of it, that means the most.
I have been inspired to want to be a “Brasini” for someone else. Although I will never be perfect, I do have excellence on my radar.
Thanks again for your hard and committed work!

  3. These articles have provided much food for thought. Our lives are not broken up into smaller blocks of time…the next ten minutes is in service to my Lord….the following three hours are in service to my purse….then the two after that are in service to my family….followed by 2 hours for God….We are to live our whole life with one ultimate goal, to glorify God and enjoy him forever. This is achieved through living each moment in service to him. Adam and Eve were given charge over God’s creation, to work, and in doing so, to be obedient to God. The Life business is one incredible arena for individuals to provide for necessities of life, continually engage in growth and development, and as Bobby Roopchand said above, be a “Brasini”, a light for a sick and dying world. I know that I am not performing in the Life Business at the level that I should be, but I am getting better every day and will continue to push forward and never give up.

Dan, thanks so much for the sacrifices that you and your family make so that I have a safe place to be how I am today and strive to be better tomorrow!

  4. WOW ! The LIFE business is blessing SO MANY people in SO many ways ! Learning how to improve our lives in the 8 F categories is something our society REALLY needs today. It is exciting to see the LIFE community grow !

  5. Wow,Dan Hawkins! Is the anointing on you or what? Preach it brother! Can’t begin to tell you how much this post helped me. Balance of faith activities and Life business activities has always been a huge struggle for me. Your post has given me a fresh perspective and I pray that I can better walk out the balance in my daily life. In the past I have struggled with either/or and you have blessed me with a renewed vision of incorporating both. I will continue to pray for the strength and wisdom to fulfill God’s call on my life.

  6. Another fantastic article. I totally agree that as we bring individuals into the life business, it increases the chance of those individuals enhancing or starting a relationship with Christ. In church yesterday, my pastor stated that we all have a tendency to drift from Christ. He recommended that we all have accountability partners to keep us accountable during our walk with Christ. He also stated that he has three accountability partner that are privy to all his personal information — even the amount of his monthly tithe. He said that if he decides to purchase a house or a new car, he checks with his accountability partners. The Life business has a similar practice with our mentorship program. As we are on our leadership journey, many of us utilize mentors who keep us accountable.

  7. So much truth! Thanks for writing this! I want to quote every other sentence it seems! God Bless you Dan!

  8. In all of my years with LIFE Leadership, I’ve never seen the true essence of what LIFE is about, explained as well as you just did with this article, Dan. I have NO doubt that God has put his personal seal of approval on this amazing organization and that he’s called upon the leaders in LIFE to “restore the roar”!!
It’s been your example that’s inspired me to want to grow in my relationship with God! Thank you………

  9. Absolutely true Gary! Well said!! Thanks Dan for bringing a “sensitive issue” to a brighter perspective. In this internet opinion based culture these days- it can be difficult to convey correctly- in reference to the LifeLeadership company, it’s true purpose to serve The Lord and his people; with life changing information.

  10. Dan!

Thank you for being so giving and sharing Raymond’s articles on your blog. Since I have a birds eye view of him I know he took painstaking time to write and share from his heart and share honestly from his perspective and our experiences.

We have seen soooooo many peoples lives do a 180 degree turn in a positive direction yet watching them come to faith because of this business has to be the most significant!!

If we are ever going to Live Intentionally for Excellence, surely it would have to include our FAITH.

Onward and forward to a million and beyond….AaaaaaOoooo

  11. Absolutely inspiring. I believe we a are called to reach out to the lost through whatever we do. LIFE gives us a vehicle and a reason to reach out more often. It also gets us in the door so that we have a better relationship through which to spread the Good News.

  12. Great article! Sums up everything LIFE Leadership has to offer. LIFE not only helps to provide a vehicle to a better life but also helps give people hope and a purpose to fullfill that they were not quite sure of before. We truly are all here for the Glory of God! Let’s keep making some waves!

  13. Great Article! When Christians realize that we are all on the same side no matter what color jersey we are wearing, we will be able to do some amazing things in this world. These articles are a great start in helping all gain the understanding to help that happen.

  14. Dan, it is so good to see these thoughts posted for all to see…..for all to see the heart of the Christian LIFE Community builder. There is room for all in LIFE, but for Christians, the call to remain true to the Gospel and do it with excellence in and out of business is clear. Thanks for you post….and thanks to Raymond Abernathy for his forum post….beautifully done.

  15. Thanks for sharing this great perspective. Its great to hear how many people of character and integrity are involved with this organization!

  16. Wow I love this article and relate to it very much. I knew once I saw God’s hand in LIFE I was all in! Thanks for sharing, God bless you and your family and LIFE.
